Happy Birthday to Irene. What a way to be celebrating your birthday!

Had breakfast with the characters today at Chef Mickey's, { Nico was NOT happy when Goofy came near him! But enjoyed the first few characters that came by!} followed by a visit to Hollywood Studios Park. The kids had fun in the "Honey I shrunk the Kids" attraction. Another hot day so we spent the rest of the afternoon by the pool at our hotel. We split up for lunch, so I had a little time with Sophia to play in the pool and make some sand castles.( without having to share her with Mommy, Daddy and the other Grandma.) I really enjoyed it!.

Later that evening we took the Monorail to a special dinner at the Grand Floridian Hotel and celebrated Irene's birthday. It was lovely and a great way to spend our last night in Disney!

We had breakfast at Cinderella's castle this morning! Our little princess really enjoyed herself! Just the ladies went out to this galla event! We were served a delicious breakfast which included pastries, fruit, bacon, eggs, french toast, waffles and coffee and juice. Sophia had her photo taken with many princesses today at Cinderella's Royal Table!

Afterwards we went on a few rides and then when the kids left the park Irene and I stayed to do some shopping and had an ice cream together. When we got back to the hotel we met everyone by the pool and stayed until it was time to get ready for the Luau. We had a tremendous storm and enjoyed watching it from our balcony.
The Aloha dinner show was fun and a nice end to a great evening.

Second day here in Disneyworld and we had a busy day starting with an early visit to Animal Kingdom. We went on a Safari, had breakfast and went to a few attractions and then had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe in animal Kingdom.

Irene flew in this afternoon and then we headed to the Magic Kingdom. We originally were going to dinner at Epcot but by that time we were all tired and ended up having a light dinner and early bedtime. Katie and I went for a swim when we got back to our hotel. It contiues to be hot & humid here in Florida!

We're off to Disneyworld for a few days. We're traveling with our children and grandchildren and we are staying at the Polynesian Resort. There is nothing like spending time with family! It's great to see Disneyworld through the eyes of my grandchildren! :0)

We all went to get manicures and pedicures this morning... It was a first for my granddaughter Sophia. She sat so nice as she had her toes and fingernails painted. She even had flowers painted on 2 nails and 2 toes.

My prescription sunglasses were starting to feel loose so I went to the eyeglass store and had them adjusted. Feels good to have them fitting right again.

Stayed in tonight and will get to bed early as we have a big day tomorrow.... We're going to visit Mickey and his friends!

Great day! Did some packing for our trip to Disney, and went to do some shopping at Kohl's where I got some more new tops and a new bathing suit.

Larry & I took a nice walk along the shore at Jones beach in the afternoon and went to dinner with Mom and Jenn at Houlihan's.
